While I will draw most things, I do not draw: portraits or caricatures of real people or pets, work based off of AI generated images, NFTs, overly detailed mechs/robots, realism, or copyrighted characters/products (parodies are okay).
I will also not emulate another artist's style.
Commission Benefits
Terms of Service
By agreeing to commission me you are agreeing to follow all of the rules listed below. If violations occur, the proper course of action will follow. Below are also protections for you as the commissioner.
General:
-
The artist reserves the right to decline any commission for any reason.
-
There is no exclusivity clause. You may buy from and support other artists. In fact, it is encouraged.
-
Commissions may be kept private by commissioner's request or Artist's discretion. Not every finished work will be posted to the Artist's page.
-
An additional charge for very complex designs may be added. The artist will be very transparent about this and work with the commissioner on a fair rate for both parties. (This primarily applies to reference sheets and backgrounds, but may also be applicable on standard commissions.)
-
The artist reserves the right to adjust commission rates between commission openings. All quoted rates will be honored until the next commission opening. You will need to get a new quote each commission opening.
-
Do not use art commissioned work, or any work by the artist, to train AI models.
Payment:
-
Payment must be accepted upon approval of rough sketch. All sketches are done traditionally, but final piece will be done Digitally.
-
Payment will be made via PayPal in USD.
Time of Completion:
-
An estimate will be given upon commission request.
-
Average turnaround is generally 1-2 weeks.
-
Real life circumstances (work schedule, other commissions in queue, in-person events, etc.) and complexity of the piece affect turnaround time. Commissions are made to order.
-
If delays occur the artist will inform you unless an extraneous circumstance occurs.
Artist Process:
-
The artist will send you rough sketches for approval before starting your order.
-
Upon approval of the sketch, full payment must be sent via PayPal.
-
Major Edits will only be made on specific elements you requested at the initial commission request and during the sketch phase.
-
Major changes not listed in initial instructions will result in an additional charge.
-
Major changes include, but are not limited too: Complete color pallet or pattern changing, a completely different pose, a different character, etc.
-
In the event a commissioner wants to change from Flat Color to Cel Shading, they will only be asked to pay the difference, no other design change fee will be added on.
-
Minor Changes will be made for no additional charge if they are the fault of the artist on something that was mentioned during the initial commission description phase.
-
Please be as specific as possible on what you want in the commission! Any later additions or changes will be subject to additional charges.
Permissions:
-
You are free to post your commission.
-
Credit must be either on your profile bio or in the description of the post initially, subsequent uploads are not required to contain credit, though it is greatly appreciated.
-
If a commission is going to be used for merchandising or profit of the commissioner, it must be stated at the point of commission. Violation of this could result in legal action.
-
If you want your commission left private, let the artist know and it will be honored. Otherwise, the artist reserves the right to publish any art they create publicly.
Prohibitions:
-
Once a commission is created you may use it however you like for any not for profit intentions.
-
You may print the work for yourself, use it as profile pictures, in videos, etc., but you are not allowed to resell any artwork.
-
If a commission is going to be used in a for-profit way, such as merchandise, there is an additional fee that permits the design to be used as such. These fees range widely depending on the size and scale of the project. Please discuss with the artist the specifics of your project so a proper quote can be given.
The Artist reserves the right to deny any commission with any of the following material: Work that is pornographic in nature, work depicting hate speech or hateful themes (racism, homophobia, sexism, etc.), inflammatory political content, being asked to work in another artist's style, or other themes the artist does not wish to be associated with. Commission involving an AI reference sheet or reference image will not be taken.
-
The artist reserves the right to deny any commission without giving a reason.
Refunds:
-
The artist only accepts refunds in cases where the commission has not been started, or if a progress update has not been shown in over 3 weeks.
-
If a delay occurs for some reason, the artist will inform you as soon as possible. If the delay is to great, a partial refund may be requested.
-
While refunds cannot be given on completed commissions, unsatisfactory work will be redone.
-
The commissioner has a week after completion to request complimentary adjustments, after that time, a small fee will be made for any changes requested.
